James Ward, BA, RMT
James received his Honours BA in Political Science from the University of Waterloo. After graduating, he searched for jobs that could make a difference in people lives. During this search he came across massage therapy. The combination of science and hands on treatment, drew James to the profession. Now as a Registered Massage Therapist, James focuses on office ailments such as back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches and other conditions.
James has massaged at the Waterloo Buskers Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and various community events. James is also an active member of the KW Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Federal and Provincial Issues and Environmental Issues Forums, has written for the Chamber magazine the Advocate, and was nominated for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007. Most recently, James has become a board member of the Ontario Massage Therapists Association.
James has also added the technique of cupping to his training. To learn more about cupping, watch this video from a recent episode of "The Doctors." Note that in applying this technique, James does not draw blood or use flames.
