Dr. Dave Morgan: Peripheral Nerve Impingement

The peripheral nervous system is made up of the motor and sensory nerves and ganglia outside the brain and spinal cord. It consists of 12 pairs of cranial nerves, 31 pairs of spinal nerves and branches to the body's organs. After a review of peripheral neuroanatomy and likely sites of compression, Dr. Dave will discuss assessment and potential treatment options for some of the more common compressive neuropathies.
Dr. Dave Morgan received his undergraduate education at the University of Waterloo in Biochemistry and then continued on to complete his 4 year Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. He is a chiropractor at Belmont Natural Health Clinic and has been in practice in KW since 2000. He also teaches neurology and physiology at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy.
